Privacy policy

Not On My Shift does not collect, store or share any personal data about you.

Data collected

None by the game itself. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics. The game connects to the internet only to load the optional reward ads described below, to check whether a newer version is on the App Store and to read the news we post on our website. Those last two only download a public file and send nothing about you. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store; details below.

Stored on your device

Your save (company name, floors, cash, the three save slots and settings) lives only on your phone, inside the app's own folder. Deleting the app deletes the save. It is never sent to any server.

Ads

The optional reward ads come from Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may use your device's advertising identifier and information about the ad, such as whether you watched it to the end. We never see that data. On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you: if you say no, the rewards are exactly the same and the ads are simply not personalised. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent screen appears first, and you can change your answer later in Main menu → Settings → Ad preferences. Details: Google's advertising policies.

Purchases

The two optional one-time purchases (Private banking and the Holding collection) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. The game only learns from Apple which of the two items you own, and keeps that on your device.

Children

The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version is published on this page with its update date.
